2003 - Tier Electronics was founded in Oconomowoc, WI.

Tier Electronics specializes in power electronics designed for OEMs worldwide. Tier's talent pool consists of personnel with decades of experience in engineering, sales, and manufacturing. The project experience of the company features a diverse array of power electronic disciplines. This experience ranges from hand held tools, to medium voltage power converters, and software from embedded microcontrollers to PC based controls.

2005 - Tier Electronics moved to its current facility in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Tier Electronics’ focus is to provide semi-customized state-of-the-art power conversion designs for OEMs.  We remain involved in multiple industries of the electronics community.  This includes defense and aerospace, telecommunications, automotive, and industrial electronics.  Tier's efficient, iterative design process generates results that are both time and cost effective.  We bring products to market faster through proven designs and unique concepts.

2007 - Tier Electronics was acquired.

Tier Electronics continues to design power converters, especially for the power quality, alternative energy, and specialized motor controls markets.  This merger improves Tier Electronics’ DFM (design for manufacturability) capabilities for its core products.

2009 - Tier Electronics becomes wholly owned by its original owners.
